A doll-like girl who appears to be the quintessential young lady. Her Mother passed away at a young age so she has been raised by her Father, renowned Automatist and P-B Engineer Dr. Steven Sterling. Despite her smile and generally accepting demeanour she largely distances herself from others and has no long term friends to speak of. According to her Father, she was affected by a debilitating medical condition when she was younger and the effects of that still linger to this day. She is always seen in the same outfit, with a Bell Dress, Bonnet and Short Cape, and tries her best to help her Father when he is too busy with a commission or assignment.

You won't ever see her in this, but this is the kind of casual outfit she might wear around the house. Peony and her Father live in a relatively large town-house, owing to the money he inherited from his family and from the lucrative business of Automata. She always wears the blue brooch she inherited from her Mother, refusing to take it off even in more casual attire. Without the full weight of her clothes, she appears rather emaciated and wears a full bodysuit. This is apparently to cover the scars from her previous illness, though she has never shown anyone.
