One-thousand years since the calamity, remembered only as the ‘ARMOR War’ sent the nation of Tera high into the sky, the remnants of that conflict are stirring. An ancient evil, known as Nemesis has reawakened and thus the clandestine battle for control of it's power has one more begun, each nation both covet and fear it's magical might.
The villainous Phoenix Clan, led by the Dark Lord Astaroth who shattered the peace of Tera thirteen years prior are once more on the move, as they too seek the power of Nemesis for their nefarious ends, that may well plunge the whole world into darkness.
One boy stands by his convictions to stand up and fight for the people he believes in, but how far can his convictions take him on the stage of fate. With the odds stacked against them, can a ragtag group of heroes stop the power of Nemesis from falling into the wrong hands and free the world from it's grasp.
The Heroes:
Alex Smith (Age: 17) - The False Knight -
- The protagonist of our tale, a young boy holding ideals far above his means. Yearns to become a knight to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Fights with an ancient blade and family heirloom, alongside a shield, he hopes to honour their storied history. Will do anything for the people he cares about, even if it's totally beyond his meagre abilities. Yet, his determination might still shine within the darkness...
Jade Willow (Age: 18) - Sage in Training -
- The current Apprentice of Tera's Great Sage and his adopted daughter. In the wake of tragedy she sets her sights upon her enemy, the villainous Phoenix Clan. Fighting with the magical might inherited from her Father and bearing the weight of the mantle he carried. She hopes that revenge will bring her the solace she desires. Yet, she knows that nothing will bring back the family she lost, or the past she no longer remembers...

Lily Carnelia (Age: 16) - Host of Calamity -
- Alex's childhood friend and the unfortunate victim of the ancient evil known as Nemesis who entered her body thirteen years ago. Due to the danger she possessed her family isolated themselves int he mountains. Due to this she is fiercely independent and rejects help from almost everyone. Fights with her survival equipment and the small amount of power she can extract from the evil spirit inside of her. Wants nothing more than a normal life, no matter the cost...
Skye Sparrow (Age: 34) - Crown-Class Maid -
- The Head Maid and highest ranking servant at the Royal Castle of Tera as well as the personal maid of the Princess Serena, only daughter of the King. Sees the political corruption of Tera firsthand due to her high position. Despite fighting with pots, pans and anything else she can get her hands on, she is remarkably effective in combat due to growing up in the Teran slums. Desperately wants to reconnect with the people she considered her siblings...
Gorath Garnet (Age: 58) - Hero of Justice -
- The previous Captain of the Blue Arms and celebrated Hero of Tera, disappeared twelve years ago after clashing with the villainous Phoenix Clan who stole the lives of his wife and daughter. Now merely a husk of his former self. Fought with a huge blade only he could properly wield due to his unhuman strength, stained red on his path in his path of revenge. His final goal, to take the head of the Dark Lord Astaroth and complete his vengeance...
Kusaka Kabashima (Age: 21) - Sparky Otaku Princess -
- The Princess of Hiyama, who spends most of her days in her room attempting to reverse engineer machininery from the outside world, with mixed results. Desires to finally meet people from Tera, if nothing else than to learn the secrets of their technology. Due to her trauma after losing her Mother at a young age, she struggles to communicate with others or use her inate Lightning magic. Fights with a prototype suit she has been developing, with mixed results...
Ruby Kabashima (Age: 23) - Spirit of the Wind -
- The Crown Prince of Hiyama, who spends his days completing missions for his Father, the Shogun. Fights with both his skill with a blade and the Wind Ninjutsu he had mastered both on and off the field. Has a tendency to get distracted and complete multiple missions at the same time. Generally doesn't stay in the same place for very long. Despite being liked by others, he does not really have what one would call friends...

- Alex's Mother, a former mercenary turned blacksmith.
Henry Smith (Age: 36)
- Alex's Father, a well travelled man who has made many connections in different places.
Captain Garrison (Age: 36) -
- The Captain of the Blue Arms, the premier military force and royal bodyguards of Tera. Caustic and abrasive and severly lacking empthay. He fights with a two-handed axe using impressive strength. On mandate from the King, he is to capture and imprison the being that contains the Demon Nemesis. Despite his abrasive attitiude he intends to see this through even if it means coming into conflict with the other nations bordering Tera...
Lieutenant Jorth (Age: 38) -
- Second in command of the Blue Arms. Cold and serious, and the tactical mind behind the group.
Valan (Age: 32)
- An aggressively postive member of the Blue Arms.
Carah (Age: 28)
- A hotheaded fighter, part of the Blue Arms.
King Daimon (Age: 50)
- Sovereign and King of Tera, his power is limited however, due to the near universal control of the parliment and various courts.
Great Sage Rolf Caprae (Age: 55)
- The Great Sage of Tera, one of a long line of magical protectors.
Cynthia Willow (Age: 41)
- Jade's mother and gardener living in the town of Lapistep.
Naybohr:
- A sea of glass sheets, once an oasis, now a scorching desert.
Aysu Kaya (Age: 20) - Vizier's Blade-Singer -
- The Grand Vizier's foremost bodyguard and the closest person he has to family. Through dance she is able to channel powerful gravity magic that can alter the direction of gravity in a localised space. She wields twin cresent swords that she can manipulate with her gravity magic. This allows her to be a threat both up close and far away. Holds the Vizier's ideals in high regard after he saved her from a life of poverty.
Grand Vizier Aldiyar Sovann (Age: 38) - Golden Sovereign -
- The Grand Vizier of Naybohr, siezed power ten years prior in the wake of the chaos surrounding the formation of the Phoenix Clan. Beleives that Tera is responsible for the abject poverty in Naybohr and fights to take back what he beleives belongs to his people. Can manipulate solid gold through his magical abilities, both to attack but also strengthen his allies. Desires control over Nemesis to extort money out of Tera.
Onda:
- A land bathed in perpetual twilight deep below the surface of Tera.
Duke Regulus Morgenstern (Age: 44) - The Twilight's Shining Star -
- The caretaker and head of the Royal Guard of Onda.
Dahlia Pleiades (Age: 33) - Sinful Rose -
- The personal Maid of the Queen of Onda, born an omen of disaster owing to her single horn, she has lived her whole life in the shadow of supersticion. Except for the Queen, who embraced her as a friend and confidant. Uses Alchemy to manipulate the supply of catalyst that she releases from her parasol turned spear making her a fearsome opponent. Beleives she is to blame for the dissapearence of the Princess...

- The first of the royal twins born to the King and Queen of Onda. Blessed with magical foresight from a young age, he truly believes that the future he sees must come to pass. - Queen and Soverign of Onda, she has ruled in her husband's stead for the last thirteen years.
Princess Amethyst Asta (Age: ???) - Shooting Star Obscured -
- The second of the royal twins born to the King and Queen of Onda. Fourteen years prior, on her fourth birthday, she mysteriously disappeared without a trace. Now the days leading up to her birthday are a period of mourning in Onda, not just for her but for their King who searches tirelessly for her even now...

- The late Empress of Hiyama, killed by the villainous warlock Necron fourteen years prior.
Orochi Yamato (Age: 43) - Chill of Death -
- Famed assassin and head of the villainous Yamato Yakuza, a cabal of mountain bandits that oppose the Kabashima Dynasty. A master of ice ninjutsu,

Talon (Age: 30) - Sardonic Sniper -
- Third Plume of the Phoenix Clan. This ruffian believes that only those who can make choices have any real power in this world, aims to prove his 'might makes right' philosophy as self-justification for his own actions. Fights with a unique composite bow that can split into dual blades, allowing him to switch fighting style remarkably quickly. Will do anything to protect the person he considers his 'sister'...

- Fifth Plume of the Phoenix Clan. A Samurai in service to Astaroth.

Nemesis (Age: 1000+) - Wings of Annihilation -
- An ancient evil, said to be strong enough to end the entire world, lies within a lone girl.
